First off, Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there.

As some of you know, we are trying out a new line, Mosaic, this year.  It has done very well and this week we received a large reorder of the tops, dresses,  jackets and pants.  Give us a call or stop by  if you have been waiting for something from Mosaic, or if it just looks good to you.

And, for the Asian Eye scarves fans, here is a picture of their Celeste scarf; bandhani and shibori work on twilight silk.

Happy sunny Saturday after days and days of rain.

We have extended our hours for the summer.  We are open weekdays 10-6:30, Saturdays 10-6, and Sundays 11-5.

In other news, we received our linen order from Kleen.  We have a number of tops in lovely gauzy linen and a pant and skirt in the regular, light weight linen.  They will be great for travel and our future warm months.

We also have some great dresses from Asian Eye in all cotton voile with  fun prints.  They are lined so you don’t have to worry about a slip.  And, as always, we have a large supply of cotton and silk scarves from Asian Eye for that perfect accessory and pop of color.

Today we received a shipment of the most wonderful linen scarves from Asian Eye.  These scarves are feminine without being fussy or frilly.  They are a perfect accessory in the summer because they are light weight and airy.  We have a variety of sizes and a rainbow of colors.  Some of the linen scarves are beautifully detailed with embroidery, sequins, subtle bows and ruffles.  So come on in and them check out ; these wont last long during our summery days.

It’s good to be back, and it’s good to see all of you.

The spring collections are arriving with new inspiring colors and softer, lighter fabrics.

We just got a shipment of Fridaze: a wrinkle resistant linen line of clothing with superb craftsmanship.  They have that perfect tank top that’s a must-have, and the versatile black jacket with the details that will make you stand out.

And check out the skirt! It can be worn both ways, straight or with ruffles for a little more kick.

We just received a new shipment of URU spring colors.   URU uses  washable silk fabrics for their clothes, and those of you own one know how wonderful it feels.

Our favorite piece for right now is the Catalina top, below it’s pictured in Tibet Red.

We have a large selection of Kleen’s rayon knits.  The tank top has been very popular, even if the weather here is not cooperating.

We will be carrying the usual great selection of scarfs from Asian Eye this spring, the every day cottons as well as the silks for that special occasion.

On Tuesday we received a shipment from the one, the only, FAT HAT!   I know you ladies have been waiting far too long for this shipment  and trust us, we have been waiting too.  We received the Boxy Turtle and Zippy Jacket  in acorn, beet, black and oyster.   May your days no longer be crisp and more so toasty.  If you aren’t familiar with Fat Hat, please read the following blurb about the company, such an amazing story:

Most people would refer to Mondays as Manic. Us, not so much. The reason why is because we received a delivery from Beyond Threads which is a lovely company that has all of their manufacturing done in Peru. Beyond Threads is committed to creating unique garments with luxurious and lightweight warmth.  Each collection combines their exquisite Peruvian craftsmanship and contemporary U.S. styling. Funny how the weather just switched up and the air is crisp and winds are high today, which makes this the perfect weather for these jackets and vests.  These are 100% cotton and of course machine washable.
